Initial for Middle name?

Hi all

Just as the subject says really -
Could I register my newborns birth with just an initial for the middle name?

For example:

Michael P Jones

The P is for personal reasons but would prefer not to use the entire name

Let me know if I can do this please!

Initially thought you mean the P would stand for personal reasons, as in Michael Personal Reasons Jones.

I know some one who’s birth name is KC not short for anything so I imagine so.
