Laura or Anna?

This is quite a tough decision for me and DW right now for DD1 - her two big bros are George and David. Which do people prefer on here? Thanks Smile

@Blues1985 I know you're not that bothered about popularity but incase of any interest, anna's numbers have been falling each and every year in the charts for the past 20 years, it's about to leave the top 100 and by the time the 2020 statistics are released it will almost certainly be outside the top 100. It's so underused these days. It's an amazing name! Love it's beautiful symmetry and simplicity but also strength

@WitchesGlove don’t really like Lara/Lyra. Or the two full versions of Anna you put there - although I think Anastasia is nice.

Anna. One of my all time favourite names. Don’t think it’s over popular. I’ve never had one in my class. I know two but they are both in their 30’s.

I love both, two of my favourite names. Both go with your sons' names.

I'd probably go for Laura as it's more unusual these days.

I love Anna - but may be slightly biased! Laura is pretty too but maybe slightly too old-fashioned but in my opinion is better than the common Lauren. George and David are both lovely names and fit very well with Anna.
