Emily! I love this name but can't use it due to family on my DHs side. I think it's a nice classic name that suits any age.

NeedToKnow101 · 04/07/2020 19:01

I love the names Esther and Nancy, which coincidentally were my elderly aunt's names. I just love them.

I also love Ramona and Lola.

A name did pop up the other day and I thought I'd love another child just to use that name, but I can't remember what the name is now Blush

My DD is Kara and I have loved that name since I was a teen.

pinkpinecone · 04/07/2020 18:24

@Nuttybea it's usually pronounced Row-me.
The french pronounce it Rom-ee and I have also heard it pronounced that way as short for Romilly. I guess its personal preference as both are nice.

Thistlegirl4 · 04/07/2020 18:10

I have quite a few names I really love like Emilia, Isabella, Hermione, Fia, Aila, Iona, Storm, Scout, India. But the one name I absolutely love and have done for a long time is Winona! And, yes it's after the actress Winona Ryder, who helped me for want of a better word, through my teenage years.

@Wishimaywishimight my daughter is called Jorgie so unfortunately couldnt use Georgia as they are too similar.

@OldEvilOwl esme is beautiful but my close friend has just named her baby esme.

@pinkpinecone iv seen Romy mentioned a couple of times on MN how is it pronounced?

Again loads of beautiful suggestions. I have a large family and a lot of the suggestions that have been mentioned are names of family members. Loving all these replies tho. Giving me a few new ideas on names. Keep them coming!

I don't have any children but if ever I'd had a daughter I would have called her Georgia, I just love the softness of the name.
