Love Nola and also Nuala.
Friend at school had a sister called Nyree which I really like too.

Betsy is cute. Daisy is a cow name. Emma is ok, bit safe.

I've never really had an all-time fave...

I loved Phoebe for a LONG time though.
Elizabeth was another fave.
Also liked Katherine.

In end we ended up with Ivy Claire and Connor James.

Sophia. I love the sound, the look, the meaning. I know it's popular now but don't care. It's stunning.

Lara and Carmen, couldn't use either but dd has a name that has appeared a couple of times here which is nice

I'm Emma and I always disliked it as it's so common but I spent some time in the US and got loads of compliments on it. I liked it better then

Joanie which could also work as a tribute to your mum.

I also love Eliza, Iris and Rosalind.

Emma is by far the best of those.

My all time favourite girls names are
Anna
Lucy
Olivia
Jasmine
Natalie
Judith
Helen

I find them all so fresh, sensible and pretty sounding. Also international. My daughter's name is not on that list! It didn't work with sibling/ surname combinations.

ExtremelyBoldSquirrels · 05/07/2020 13:22

My favourite girls name is Eilidh.

If we were having a girl, I think DH would veto it on spelling grounds (we’re not in Scotland) so I’d try for Ailis instead (because it’s not hard to spell).
