Chloe or Cora

Noah, Jacob and Chloe
Or
Noah, Jacob and Cora

Which do you prefer? And why?
We are trying to shorten our shortlist and can't decide between the two. The other two names on our shortlist are Isabella/Isabel and Sofia.

Thank You!

Cora😍

17caterpillars1mouse · 03/07/2020 15:54

I much prefer Chloe

Iwalkinmyclothing · 03/07/2020 14:56

Sofia is my all time favourite girl's name, though, and Isobel also right up there, so whichever you choose from your shortlist I think your baby will have a lovely name :)

I have a Chloe. Ironically we did also debate between Chloe, Cora and Cara/Caragh! Smile

Pemba · 03/07/2020 14:54

Chloe is such a lovely name and timeless really. So what if it had a wave of popularity in the 90s (or was it 80s?)? Does it matter?

Cora seems to be coming into fashion, but I do find it very harsh sounding. Plus apple corer.

Wherewhathow · 03/07/2020 14:49

Chloe goes better with Noah and Jacob than Cora does. I prefer the name Cara to Cora (Cora makes me think of corers).

ILoveStickers · 03/07/2020 14:12

Chloe. I think Cora is a bit of-the-moment.

finallychangedmyusername · 03/07/2020 14:02

I personally prefer the name Cora but agree that Chloe fits better with the biblical theme.

Theforest · 03/07/2020 13:57

Cora is really lovely.

GinnyStrupac · 03/07/2020 13:52

And Isabella/Isabel rather than Sophia. Cora and Isabella/Isabel go well together too.

Iwalkinmyclothing · 03/07/2020 13:49

Chloe.

Because it's a nicer name and fits better with Noah and Jacob than Cora does.

GinnyStrupac · 03/07/2020 13:48

Cora, definitely. Chloe seems a little dated.

123Dancewithme · 03/07/2020 13:48

Cora

LotusClover · 03/07/2020 13:45

Cora makes me think of an apple corer and I don't think it fits well with your two boys names.

Chloe is beautiful and goes perfectly with Noah and Jacob.

kenandbarbie · 03/07/2020 13:06

Cora. Chloe sounds a bit French so doesn't go as well. Both lovely names though!

Roasties89 · 03/07/2020 13:05

Chloe x

ouch321 · 03/07/2020 13:05

Both nice

NannyR · 03/07/2020 12:59

Chloe was very popular a few years ago but it's not that popular now, I don't think? I much prefer it to Cora and I think it goes better with your boys names - three biblical names.

uncomfortablydumb53 · 03/07/2020 12:59

Oh sorry, my reason is I think Cora is times and pretty, and goes nicely with your boys names

uncomfortablydumb53 · 03/07/2020 12:57

I love Cora

VintageGirl89 · 03/07/2020 12:56

@MikeUniformMike I was thinking of Isabella, as could shorten to Isabel if wanted a more grown up name.

Chloe is lovely but there are many of them. Cora just doesn’t appeal to me. I love Cara as an alternative.

MikeUniformMike · 03/07/2020 12:52

Chloe has been overused in the past but is the nicer of the two namer.
I can't get past apple corer.

Isabella is much nicer but I'm not keen on Izzy.

Sophia is nicer than Sofia, but of the four names I'd choose Sofia.

BernardsarenotalwaysSaints · 03/07/2020 12:49

Chloë. Cora is a lovely name but it doesn't fit as well with your ds' names imo.
