Name my baby - two weeks nameless already

We really should name this child we created but we just can't seem to find the name that fits. Current favourites are:

Oscar
Dylan
Joseph

But can't commit. Any favourites or suggestions? We still look at new names most days.

At least the registry offices are closed anyway so no rush.

I have a Joseph, we call him Joe, friends call him Joey, I got to know him a few days before we decided
My daughter was Chloe for two weeks But it just didn't suit her, my friends thought it highly amusing that we changed her name just before she was registered, it has to be right, you will know when it is.

I really like all of your names. Order of preference would be Joseph, Dylan, Oscar but they’re all good, strong names.

Good advice @4amWitchingHour - I agree, you are often told a name will just "feel right" but that never happened for me. Just pick on you like and give a middle name so they have a second option if they want to change later in life (unlikely I expect!)

Yes, Jack is a great name, very strong. Wish we'd thought of that one.

I reckon pick one of those three - you may not find one that just "feels right" if you haven't by this point, and those are all lovely names (my fave is Joseph).

Whichever one you pick he'll grow into Smile

Joseph is one of my favourites, and it's not overused. Plus a total classic. Love Oscar as well but it is more popular and could become a generational name (like Sharon, Tracey, Kelly or Hayley - you can pretty much guarantee which decade they were each born in). Dylan is I'm a bit more meh about.
