What do you think of the name Lenora?

Just this...Mulling girl's name choices and interested in other views. What do you think of the name Lenora? Anything similar which you would suggest?

Elenya sounds a bit made up to me. Lenora has definitely be ruined by Lenor!

Laurel is lovely.

Prefer Ellen to Elenya.
Elenya reminds me of the "Orinoco flow" singer!

What about Lauren?

Hmm, interesting...Looks like Lenor may have ruined this name...Shame!

I quite like Laurel. I love Eleanor, but DH thinks it's too old-fashioned.

As an alternative to Lenora, what do you think of Elenya? No laundry connotations, at least.

I don't dislike it, and it does make me think of fabric softener a bit.

Prefer Leonore or Eleanor/Eleonore.

Seeing it written down does remind me of fabric softener. However, there's a wonderful actress called Lenora Critchlow and when I hear/see the name in relation to her, it doesn't remind me of the fabric softener brand. I think once a name is "attached" to a person, it is less reminiscent of other things. To a point, obviously 😁

It's nice, but I think of the fabric softener Lenor. I like Lena though.
