Hi all - desperate for some help/advice!
Our DS2 is due in a week and we need a name that works in English as well as Greek.

Our front runners currently are:

Xander (I don't much like Alexander)
Marcus
Hector

Others that have come up:

Ajax
Lysander
Leander

I love Rafael, but my partner doesn't!

Help! Any thoughts on the above/other suggestions?

We are in France and have a Lysandre in our village. I also know an Ulysse and an Hippolyte. I like Xander and Xan as a diminuative though.

Surname is long and Greek btw!

Sadly can't use Theodore but I do love it! Joran is interesting too, hadn't heard it before!

I'm leaning towards Xander I think, although we could use Lysandros/Lysander nn Xander?? Or is Lysander a bit wet sounding/could be shortened to Lice...?!

Theodore? Is that Greek, sorry I’m hopeless! If it is it’s lovely!
Otherwise I do like your suggestion of Xander!

Xander - I like it
Marcus - Not as keen as some of your other names
Hector -not too keen
Ajax - not too keen
Lysander -love this
Leander -like this

you could also consider Adrian, Alec, Jedrick, Joran or Kayson?
all the best
