Just that really.

Anna- it’s a gorgeous name and suits all ages! I’d then NN Annie!

Allmyeye · 18/07/2020 13:16

Is Anna too popular? I know two and they're both in their thirties. I teach and have never had one in my class.

jenniuol · 26/06/2020 09:24

Edenember · 25/06/2020 11:06

Another one for Anna. Lovely underused simple classic name.

Anne.
name of a queen.
annie sounds like a servant, and anna sounds foreign.

RusholmeRuffian · 24/06/2020 15:12

Anna

Flowerpowersy · 24/06/2020 15:11

Anne is actually quite refreshing as it's been so underused.

Anna seems fashionable now but will sound dated as it falls out of fashion.

Annie is awfully cutesy. I really don't like it.

So I vote Anne.

SionnachRua · 24/06/2020 12:52

Anne.
Annie is cutesy, Anna is overused and boring.

Thistlegirl4 · 24/06/2020 12:50

Definitely Anna much more timeless. The other two just sound bland and old-fashioned and not in a classic way.

MilaRos · 24/06/2020 11:24

Anna with nn Annie

argueifnecessary · 24/06/2020 08:25

My second is called a variation of these names but we often call her Ann and sometime frying pan 😄

GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal · 24/06/2020 08:20

I like Anne, as Anne of Green Gables remains one of my favourite literary characters.

user1728393 · 24/06/2020 08:19

Annie for me. The others don't fit with a child for me tbh.

She'll only be a child for a few years. She'll be an adult for 50+ years. So with that in mind Anna would be lovely for both and you could use the nn Annie for her childhood years if you wanted to. She would have the option as an adult.

Winnerella · 24/06/2020 08:11

Yes the way Americans say Anna is Onna 🤷‍♀️

Winnerella · 24/06/2020 08:09
