Is Arthur an old man name?

I know many babies called Arthur so it's definitely going to be associated with younger people soon!

I agree that it's very popular at the moment, and I don't really know any older men called Arthur, so I think of it as a kids name.

I would say yes but I think the majority would say no as it’s so popular.
I also think it’s become slightly chavvy in its overuse.

Very, very popular at the moment. But as part of the ‘old man’ name resurgence. See also: Stanley, Reggie, Ronnie etc
So it’s old man and young child really.

It's incredibly popular at the moment so I would associate it more with very young children than with old men.
