Would you choose the Name Thomas if your last name was Jones?
Would you instantly think of Tom Jones?
Although love tommy over Tom.

Hmm, I think I would. Tom Jones is 80 and doesn't exactly do much now. By the time your DC is an adult the association will have faded to an extent
