It's kind of "different" but in a predictable and getting popular way, I know a couple of them and it strikes me as "ooooooo aren't we interesting and different"

@theseriousmoonlight I think it's a really cool sounding name! Love that a few people have got it and it's not completely unheard of.

The only other name I have in mind is Freddy (shortened to Fred)

Avery Fred together I think are quite sweet!!

My friend has an Avery. He's a cool kid and really suits his name. If you like it, go for it.

@anxiouswaiting ah that's nice to know that you have one and people tend to like it rather than seem confused by it!

I'm surprised the older generation don't like it as it's a name that's been around such a long time!

How old is your son? If old enough has he every experienced friends being confused by his name or anything like that?

I think it is absolutely beautiful & I really like different names.

I am biased because I have an Avery. I love it. Means King of the elves.

I get a lot of positive comments about it being nice and unusual.

Nobody has ever mentioned labels or bird cages!

A couple of times older generation has seemed not to like it/ think it is too umusual.
