For DS number three - what do you associate with this name?

Alternatives are Callum, Rory or Robin in that order of preference.

... I had forgotten how stressful I find name picking!

I did not know this about myself but it is useful information to help narrow down baby name searches!!

I like it. know a few little Gregors in Scotland. Very middle class up there with Struan and Ruairidh

badg3r · 27/05/2020 18:44

Thanks!! For those of you who don't like it, can I ask why? I really like the name Rory but the more i think of it I'm not sure I can imagine myself with one. Also all Gregors I know are lovely whereas a couple of the Callums are a bit drippy or boring which I think is influencing my judgement 😬

I like Callum or even better, Colm. Rory's a sound choice too. I don't like Gregor. It's a bit 'Kelvinside' to me, along with names like Adair or Barclay.

Outfoxed · 27/05/2020 18:41

Gregor is a huge burly slavic man in my mind.

lilkim · 27/05/2020 18:41

Sorry I don't like it. It's not a nice sound to me. Callum is lovely though

LooseyGoosey · 27/05/2020 18:41

I like it, would have had it on my list but DP vetoed.

Sexnotgender · 27/05/2020 18:40

Really don’t like it. All your alternatives are lovely.

sleepismysuperpower1 · 27/05/2020 18:40

I'm not too keen on it- sorry! I much prefer Rory or Callum. My first thought was that you intended to type Gregory and missed the Y, and then I thought of Mr Mcgregor from Peter Rabbit
