Judge my girl names

This is a preliminary list of names that I like before even showing it to DP as I would also like some suggestions from everyone on here. These aren't the only names I like but just some of my favourites

I assumed these were all male names till I re-read the heading! Ace, Blaze, Halston, Collins cant surely be female names?

I do like unpopular and different names, but some on your list are just too out there.

Lumen in medical terms is the width of a tubular structure like intestines, veins or sizing for catheters, so this is a definite no from me Hmm

Fallon sounds rude and like something done to genitals!

The only names, at a push, I'd chose from a girl are Lilac, Teal and Indigo.

The rest are a bit extra and try hard to be ‘out there’

Tatum for me. It was on my list. Strong list that sounds like you might be a feminist with hippy tendencies who grew up in the 80s and met you partner in Brighton. That’s my read anyway. 😉

There is a Harper in my ds's class and I knew an Ocesn once who was team a travelling family.

Harper. It's okay. Very over rated though.
Ocean. It's okay
Lilac. Love this.Ruby Sienna Amber Scarlett are all very popular color themed names. Why not Lilac.
Astor. Not heard this but I quite like it
Scout. I think you'd have to be 100% sure she was going to be lively and full of character. I don't think it d suit a very shy child.
Blaze. See Scout.
Greer. I love this.
Indigo. See Lilac.
Bali. See Ocean
Lumen. I love this..
Holland. Id just think. I think I know what you did I'm Holland 9 months before.Wink. Don't like the sound of it either.
Tatum. Gorgeous.
Ace. Nice name but more for a boy Id say.
Brighton. See Holland.
Fallon. One of my favorites.
Teal. See Lilac and Indigo.
Halston. Is that a place, too.
Collins.What an ugly name. Id assume it was your s or your mind maiden name.
Gage. It's a nice name. However it Just makes me think of the little boy in Pet semetery. I certainly wouldn't put it a girl, though

The baby in Pet Cemetery was called Gage. I always liked it.

I'm judging alright but it wouldn't be polite to say what I'm thinking. You do realise you are naming a PERSON who will live with and be be judged them self on what name you bestow on them?!

Sorry that’s a bit unkind of my!! I’m old enough to know better!! You just want something different and exotic for your baby girl!!

But as my mum always said go to the back door of the house and shout the name you are thinking off as loud as you can, then repeat six or seven times because that’s what you will be doing for real one day, so make sure your are happy with the result.

You know you’re naming an actual person right, who has to tolerate their name (until they’re 18 and can legally change it).
