Keeva
Or
Kweeva

I love keeva but again have heard it pronounced both ways! My partners niece middle name is the "kweeva" pronunciation
Our first daughter has an irish name so we would like another although we are living in Scotland we have never had a problem with our first daughters pronunciation after the initial how do you pronounce that
Would love peoples opinions

I love Caoimhe. I'm from England so no idea what the main pronunciation is - I've never even met anyone with the name. I think I'd be inclined to pronounce it as "keeva". Either way it's really nice.

Southern Ireland tends to be Kweeva (how I personally pronounce it and more North ends to be Keeva.

I'd say Keeva. Once met someone with this name and thought she'd be v. impressed with me for getting the pronunciation right, I said Keeva and she said no, its Caomi Confused

I use Kweeva but the w isn't strong. More an ou (in you) but a whisper of an "ou"

I think Kweeva is more commonly used but I much prefer Keeva.

I prefer the Keeva pronunciation, but I'm from Leinster. The Munster version tends towards Kweeva.

It can be both, and I know girls of both pronunciations, but I much prefer Keeva, I think the other sounds too much like Quaver!

It is becoming very popular as an Irish name though, even in England!

Our friend of the family is Kweeva but the W sound is very, very soft. If you said her name in a busy room it would sound more like Keeva. Grin helpful aren’t I? [Takes bum off fence].

In central Scotland. Never seen it written down before so I imagine it'll confuse some but it will likely be pretty. I'd guess Kova?

I know a Caoimhe (Kweeva). Not heard it pronounced Keeva.
