I’m sure you’ll find a boy name you like if you have a boy! Just keep looking, I naturally find boys names harder to chose than girls. If you like Lincoln I’d go for it! Many people put my off my youngest boys name at first, once I decided to go for it I was so much happy, the name really suits him now and I get so many compliments.
However how about Lachlan, similar to Lincoln I guess?!

Think I’m just going to have to hope for a girl as I have no clue for a boy name

I have a friend called Lincoln. Lovely name and suits him perfectly. He is a Canadian though if that's makes a difference.

BatleyTownswomensGuild · 22/05/2020 16:19

It's my home town so would feel pretty weird....

Wonderful Cathedral, as a person's name, no.

ShyTown · 21/05/2020 21:09

I have Land of Lincoln and a picture of Abe on my car numberplate because I live in Illinois. Also Lincoln, Nebraska (yawn). Lincoln cars. Lincoln in England. It’s would be a bit of a weird choice because it sounds very American but I doubt it’s that popular here (I’ve never met one anyway) because of all the associations. Personally I don’t like it.

LadyEloise · 21/05/2020 20:59

I think of a Lincoln Continental car Smile

thomaszthetank · 21/05/2020 20:57

Love it. We nearly used it for ours but backed out at the last minute because of peoples comments

I think it's a lovely name and also like the shortened form of Link

daisypond · 21/05/2020 18:54

No

IVflytrap · 21/05/2020 18:54

I quite like it.

Roselilly36 · 21/05/2020 18:52

Character in MAFIA 3 video game, according to DS.

DramaAlpaca · 21/05/2020 18:48

Surprising, not surprisingly! Grin

DramaAlpaca · 21/05/2020 18:47

I'm surprisingly myself here, but I quite like it.

MissSmiley · 21/05/2020 16:42

I'm at work in Lincoln and while the Cathedral is amazing, absolutely not

AragornsManlyStubble · 21/05/2020 16:42

My DS is a Lincoln. Have always got good comments.

Bleepbloopblarp · 21/05/2020 16:41

I used to work with a fabulous guy called Lincoln - I think it’s cool. May get shortened to Link.

whatausername · 21/05/2020 16:41

Actually, the LinkedIn logo popped into my head at almost the same time 😂

The name's okay but it has too many other associations for me. Plenty of other nicer names out there.

sunshineandshowers21 · 21/05/2020 16:41

the first thing that comes to my mind is the guy from prison break.

ArnoldBee · 21/05/2020 16:40

Prison Break fan?

whatausername · 21/05/2020 16:39

Guy who got assassinated and a not particularly special place.
