Thoughts on Frances nn Francie for DD please? I'd probably team with a slightly frillier middle name as we have a hard sounding surname.

Looking for a timeless underused name for DD that is feminine and strong, no longer than three syllables at an absolute maximum please.

This is the only name I have in mind at the moment, reeeeeally struggling for anything else. I feel it's a classic that hasn't revived yet. Help please MN?

I really like it, classic and works well on both a child and an adult. She may get Fran and Frannie as well as Francie, so if you're OK with that possibility, go for it.

I had a lovely relative called Frances, nicknamed Frankie or Fran. I agree its due a revival, its beautiful.

Does your other half like it?

I think it fits your criteria well. She may get nicknamed Frankie which is more on trend if that bothers you.

I think Louisa has a similar feel.
