Is it boring or old fashioned?

I love it.

keepingbees · 17/05/2020 22:42

It's classic but in my opinion a bit boring. A few people suggested it when I was having my DD and I didn't considerate for that reason but my DD now says she wishes that was her name!

NameChange30 · 17/05/2020 22:40

I'm biased but I think it's an excellent name.
Classic, simple, elegant.
I think it's quite different from Emily, Emilia, etc and nicer.
It was very popular in the 80s but I think it's less popular now which is a good thing IMO as there won't be so many in the same class/year.
I also like Ella.

It’s classic and beautiful.

NuffSaidSam · 17/05/2020 22:31

It's perfectly nice.

I think names in the 'Emma' family (Emily, Amelie, Amelia, Emilia etc) are quite popular atm.

thegreenmachine · 17/05/2020 22:31

I really like it.
