Middle name for Leo

Purplerainbow222 · 15/05/2020 17:30

Hi all, would really appreciate thoughts on our 2 middle names we like for our baby. They are: Leo Thomas or Leo Edwin
Both middle names are sentimental family names so would definitely be one of these 2!

Any comments would be great :)

Also with the two vowels the middle name would sound like Wedwin ...

I love the name Leo. It was top of my list (but not my husband's, unfortunately!). Leo Thomas is fab.

Leo Edwin is two vowels running in to each other. I don't think that works!

Leo Redmond works.

edwin is a bit watery alright.

Thomas flows a lot better. It sort of 'toughens up' Leo whereas Edwin would sound slightly more feminine in my view.

Tillygetsit · 16/05/2020 23:26

Leo Edwin is lovely.

Ellmau · 16/05/2020 01:12

Both nice. I feel Thomas flows a bit better, but Edwin is a more interesting name.

DramaAlpaca · 16/05/2020 00:42

Leo Thomas.

Leo Edwin

I like them both, marginally prefer Edwin. Leo is a lovely name.

littlealexhorne · 15/05/2020 20:07

I prefer Leo Thomas

Surname begins with a P so LEP would be the initials x

You know what I would usually think Edwin is a bit too posh but I really like it with Leo!

pinkandstripey · 15/05/2020 19:45

Depends on surname - Leo Edwin would give rise to LEG, LEN, LES etc initials.

I prefer Edwin tho.

MintyMurray17 · 15/05/2020 19:44

Both lovely options. Leo Edwin wins it for me.

Leo Thomas is fab
