Not for me sadly but was asked to post.
37 weeks so not long to go:

Cailín (the Gaelic word for girl)
Lumen
Polly
Elowen
Romilly
Cadence
Della
Evelyn (ev-lin)
Sabine (pr the french way ‘een’)
Delilah
Fiadh

Bit of a mixed bag there ...

I really like Cadence. I like the meaning, too. I think I’d like to be called Cadence. Romilly is nice too. I do love the sound of Delilah, but I can’t get past the negative biblical associations, unfortunately. Not so keen on the others. Actually, having said Della out loud, I think I do rather like it. Simple, but unusual. Although it does make me think of the Dellar in the cellar in There’s a Wocket in m Pocket.

I'm not hugely keen on any of them, although Sabine is quite nice.

Love the name Fiadh - in fact it's one of my favourite Irish girls names. Would just need to ensure it's pronounced and spelt correctly

SilverOtter · 30/04/2020 13:59

To me lumen just means the inside of a blood vessel or a bit of intestineGrin

Inconnu · 30/04/2020 13:51

My favourites are Cailin and Polly.

DramaAlpaca · 30/04/2020 13:48

Lumen is something to do with lighting and Cadence is a cycling term to me, not a name. I'd rule them out immediately.

No Irish person would use Cailín, I don't think, but Fiadh is beautiful. English people will pronounce it 'fear', so be wary of that.

I like Polly, Elowen, Evelyn and Delilah, and I don't mind Sabine. Not keen on Della or Romilly, but there's nothing objectionable about them.

SqidgeBum · 30/04/2020 13:44

I like a lot of those, especially Delilah and Elowen. Unusual, but not so unusual that people cant spell them. I am not big on Polly (reminds me of a parrot) or Lumen (sounds like a Harry Potter spell). However, names are all based on opinion, and everyone's opinions are different

Whatsyourflava · 30/04/2020 13:42

Love Delilah Evelyn and Polly. Others aren't really to my taste and many I haven't heard of actually. Elowen is alright but there's so many "El" names I think they merge into one a bit.
