Thanks for that @Cosyblanky
I agree about waiting till you see your baby.
Doesn’t really matter to me about shortening a name tho I’d rather his name not be shortened I don’t like when people try shorten Amayahs name lol
Will Defoe wait till we see him for final decision xx

Don't like Tareyon, sorry. Think about what it would be shortened to as well.
Choose what you think goes best with the surname, names in the family etc. Sometimes you can choose a name which doesn't seem to suit the baby, so don't make a final
decision until you meet. Smile

I haven’t met a Cassius before, I love the name romello absolutely love first time I’ve heard it.What do you think of Tareyon?
So I have narrowed my list down to

Alexander
Romello
Trey
Cassius
Elias

I like Romello. I do like Cassius, although I don't think it's that unusual, I have also taught one. Never had a Romello. Mello is also a good nick name (if he is). Just make sure he suits it. I taught a Buster who was a weedy kid, it just seemed a bad match!

K1mberlylauren · 28/04/2020 21:08

Haha romello I actually love the sound of it !
Will mention it to my husband when he gets in lol

Also Alexander can be spelt a few ways so will also consider but I still prefer the others I have x

I’m so glad you like it! I thought it sounded so adorable for a little boy, but I can imagine someone named Romello would grow up to be the most gorgeous, sexy man!

K1mberlylauren · 28/04/2020 21:04

Thanks for the name ideas I’m really loving them as they all sound different

Alexander could be shortened to Zan or Zander (or Xan, Xander)?

Orphlids · 28/04/2020 20:41

How about Romello? I met a little boy named Romello, and I just thought it was wonderful! It sounds rather romantic but so cool at the same time. I’d never be cool enough to use this for my kid, but perhaps you are! Good luck!

cheeseycracker · 28/04/2020 20:11

@BelfastNonBlonde
I was responding to the (now deleted) post that claimed the names were racist-y. Which, I hope you agree, is a ridiculous comment.

CormoranStrike · 28/04/2020 19:52

Julius
Taron
Reuben
Elias

Serintyjo · 28/04/2020 19:44

@NoMorePoliticsPlease please stop going on everyone's post whose looking for unusual names and say poor child. stop commenting on peoples stuff if thats the way you feel. because in that case poor you wanting to give your child a name someone else already has or is common.

ArthurAndMe · 28/04/2020 18:40

We've got Cassius picked out for if we have a boy! It's a great name, super strong and handsome! Although the meaning isn't great, if you're not too big on the meanings of names it shouldn't be an issue! Smile

BeyOnceBeyTwice · 28/04/2020 17:59

She didn't ask you to tell her not to call her child something though, she asked for suggestions on a specific type of name.
You don't have to like it but you also don't have to comment. Classist bullshit

Puppybum · 28/04/2020 16:31

But you've asked people's opinions

K1mberlylauren · 28/04/2020 16:29

I hate to think what You named yours! Your very small minded please keep your negative opinions to yourself! Please mind your own business if you have nothing nice to say don’t say it !
