Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

@jackstini
No doesn’t need to be religious, just a name with a nice meaning

How about Alexander but Xander for short?

jackstini · 03/05/2020 16:52

What meanings are you looking for?

Amayah means 'near God' so is it important to have a religious connection?

Like Cassius & Romello

Agree Taryeon a bit Game of Thrones but you might like that Smile

Ineedabreak19 · 03/05/2020 16:32

Yes I agree with 16:24BeingATwatItsABingThing you need to speak to your dh & decide together rather than asking random strangers on the Internet. It is his baby too, you need to ask him if he likes the name suggestions rather than us.

DartmoorChef · 03/05/2020 16:30

Dante Alexander sounds really good together

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 03/05/2020 16:24

You need to have a conversation with him and decide on a name together. It’s his baby too.

I loved the name Jesse before we knew DD was a girl. DH hated it so we crossed it off the list. He liked Michael but I hated it so we crossed it off the list. There are millions of names and I’m sure you can find one you both like rather than either of you having to settle on a name you hate.

Ineedabreak19 · 03/05/2020 16:22

I like Azriel but I can't name a baby that as it's too close to Azrael, the angel of death in the Islamic & Jewish traditions.

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Azrael

K1mberlylauren · 03/05/2020 16:15

I’ve narrowed it down to
Amari
Tareyon
Dante now

My partners choices Christopher
And Alexander as you can see very different x

0.018% called Amari. So nearly twice as many as called Dante.

MillicentMartha · 03/05/2020 15:53

Dante is Italian, yes. Only around 50 born last year in the UK. That’s around 0.01% or one in ten thousand! Less than 3 Joshiahs!

I love the name Dante it’s an Italian name isn’t it, however I’ve had negative feed back on it, I’ve liked this name for months so I changed it to deontae to be bit different ,then my husband tells me there’s a boxer with that name ! Lol

What's your top names so far?

I misread Joshia for Josiyah I think people would possibly mis pronounce?

Are you or dp connected to another country at all? Might be worth considering names from other countries that are easy to say/ spell but not popular in this country, presuming you're from England here...?! Apologies if not.

Mostly though I'd go with what you love.
