Opinions on these? Not due until August but these are the only 2 myself and DH like Smile

Love both but my vote goes to Aaron

CuriousMary · 22/04/2020 15:00

I would pronounce Aaron as Arr on and not air on.
Split so far.. thanks you! At least they've not been written off Grin

Aaron for me. My only problem is (as with above) which pronunciation is it?

I prefer both to Aiden.

I also relate Aiden to the Aiden, Jayden, Hayden, Brayden, Jaden, Caden, Kaden, Ayden, Braden branch of names and I don't hate or particularly dislike them I just prefer Aaron in this instance.

Is it A names you're after? Both choices are lovely and you should go for whatever feels right when you see his lil face Smile

Aaron for me

MoonlightMistletoe · 22/04/2020 14:51

Aidan

Inconnu · 22/04/2020 14:50

Aiden, or how about Adam?

Whatsyourflava · 22/04/2020 14:50

I really love both! Excellent choices and a bit different too!
You might like Asa Tristan Angus or Alistair too. But stick stick with your choices as they’re lovely.

DramaAlpaca · 22/04/2020 14:48

Aidan (prefer that spelling) for me. It's an anglicised version of the Irish Aodhán and not in the least like Jayden, Hayden etc. Lovely name.

Aaron is OK, but the pronunciation differences would annoy me.

emmathedilemma · 22/04/2020 14:45

Aidan, mainly on the basis that people never seem sure if Aaraon is Air-on or Arr-an.

MillicentMartha · 22/04/2020 14:45

How do you pronounce Aaron. I’ve heard it as Arrun and as Air-un. Would people mispronouncing it bother you?

Treanor · 22/04/2020 14:43

I'd wait and see what he suits when he's born but I prefer Aaron

87Callista · 22/04/2020 14:42

Definitely Aaron for me - great name and I haven't heard it in a while.

Aiden is quite similar to the other seemingly popular -den -dyn names like Hayden, Jaden, Jadyn etc

Ellmau · 22/04/2020 14:42

I like Aidan.

SnowdropFox · 22/04/2020 14:42

Wait and meet him and if he's placid and thoughtful looking maybe Aaron (enlightened) and if wild then Aiden (firey). I like both equally but lean towards Aaron for some reason.

CuriousMary · 22/04/2020 14:04

Thanks, not keen on Aston!

I prefer Aaron.

How about Aston
