So im having my first little one and I can not find a name that fits what im looking for. First girl or boy the name should start with the letter A. Second i'm looking for very unique names Ive been up and down google and havent seen one. I dont mine if its 2 letters or 10 letters, if its a place/thing etc. (with great meaning). I also need girl middle names (dont have to start with an A. I was looking for an odd name that means God is good. And just to throw some things out there I love these things the ocean (I was literally going to do a middle name as Ocean), black history, and movies..

Adaora (think it’s usually used for first daughters; pronounced A-DOR-a
Adaolisa (daughter of God)
Amaka (beautiful)
Amara (graceful)
Amadia (not sure of meaning)

These are all Nigerian (Igbo) girl’s names with nice meanings.

I’m very tickled that someone has included ‘Aniseed’ as a suggestion and ‘Anum’ is an interesting choice too.

I'd use Anna. Classic and simple, good nickname Annie. I wouldn't go with anything that is difficult to spell or pronounce. Some of the suggestions here look like gobbledigook.

JanewaysBun · 24/04/2020 15:01

Athena isn't rare anymore. I know 2!

I Have a name I've never heard on anyone else so you could stick an A in front of it? Grin

Ariadne is nice
