If i say the name Eden, would you think of a boy or a girl?

I think it's a lovely name. Never met any Eden's but would automatically think 'girl' as it reminds me of Edith or Edie.

If you were looking for a boys name, I prefer Evan which is quite similar.

Occasionally used for boys, historically unisex, but almost exclusively used for girls these days. I would assume a girl.

I hate the whole sexist idea behind so many names. Especially as it's become somewhat acceptable for girls to have "boy" names, but if a boy has a "girl" name it's jeered at.

I'd say girl, sounds a bit girly for a boys name, unless I'm just thinking if the perfume of the same name -

Either. When I was a child there was a famous singer whose stage named was Eden Kane. He was male. It makes a nice girl's name though.

I know both but pronounced differently:
The girl pronounced is E-dun (like the Eden project) and the boy I know pronounced it like e-den

If you look at the official stats it’s about 2:1 girl:boy
Think it works really well for girl or boy x
