I’d say that “Florian” is the most mainstream male “Flo” name in English speaking countries.

No, Florus is actually worse than Floris.

And, before you ask, Floras is also not great, and neither is Flores.

It’s no less feminine sounding that Floris that you asked for opinions on the other day. There are 1000s of lovely names out there. It’s only one less sound a way from Florist.

Are you in the UK? I’d be concerned about teasing - Flora marg, flower etc. I love Flora for a girl but Florus sounds a bit feminine.

Awful. The feminine Flora is nice, but I don't think there's been a Florus in the U.K. since the Romans left.

I've never heard of it. I know a couple of boys/men called Florian. It's quite popular in Germany.
