After struggling to find a name we both "love", Austin seems to keep creeping back into the top spot of our list. What do you think?

Have managed to convince OH that Arlo is too popular! Austin is our favourite, although there are a couple of other contenders, each with their own doubts! Hmm.

@aprilshowers2015 thank you, my OH is the same, thinks Austin is too much of a "place" but he doesn't Like any of my choices and won't shift from Arlo! Grrr

Love love love Austin! It was my number 1 choice for so long, but DH veto'd as thought it sounded too "American". I don't see that as a negative!
I know three Arlo's born in the last year so I think it may have a bit of a peak. Still a lovely name though!

I love it! Strongly considered for ds2 but it rhymes with our surname and I'm not sure how I feel about that. Without the surname issue, though, it would have been my top choice.

Love it and have one! For a rare name I know of 4 others in our local area so I think it has pockets of popularity. Ours is usually Austin but also Oz and Ozzy which we also likes

I know a little boy called Austin and he's a sweet little thing . He's the only Austin I know so name isn't too popular on this area.

My lad is Austin but spelt Ostyn. We never ever call him it though, he's Ozzy, Oz, Ozman Grin

I like Austin. Bonus that if you ever visit Austin Texas there's a great variety of t-shirts, badges, stickers etc, their unofficial city motto is 'keep Austin Weird'!!
