C-section tomorrow and still no idea on what this little lady’s name is.

What’s your vote?

Thanks in advance 😊

Don't like Etta. Pearl is lovely. April not sure but quite nice. Olive not keen. Nancy ok.

LarkDescending · 11/04/2020 21:32

Congratulations!

From you list I like Etta Pearl.

Suggestions: Cora, Fay, Honor?

pilates · 11/04/2020 21:18

Pearl Etta ❤️

Sheshallbenameless1 · 11/04/2020 21:07

Thanks so much everyone for the opinions, comments and well wishes 🥰
She is here and healthy and I am finally back in the land of the living. She is still nameless though unfortunately. I want Etta or Nancy, DH wants April or Pearl. We’ve decided she really doesn’t look like an Olive so we’ve at least eliminated one but now it’s just a battle of wills I think. If anyone has any other suggestions that they feel would suit our taste, please send them our way!

April or Nancy get my vote. Both gorgeous names. And good luck OP! Please come back and update us when she's here and you're both safe and well.

April, Olive, Nancy, Etta, Pearl.
I like them as far down as Nancy. Etta is alright. I don’t like Pearl.

BatleyTownswomensGuild · 11/04/2020 17:52

April or Olive! Both lovely names.

Etta just sounds like someone clearing their throat....

Marlena1 · 11/04/2020 17:20

Love April!!! (Or Avril)

ALittleBirdhouse · 11/04/2020 17:16

Etta and Nancy both lovely. The others not so much but it's all very much personal opinion of course. Hope you meet her very soon!

Etta or April. All the best for tomorrow. x

Tanfastic · 11/04/2020 16:59

Nancy and April are my faves.

I am surprised at the amount that like Etta. That's my least favourite

MummaSt · 11/04/2020 16:45

Ah just saw that you’re having her today!! Hope everything is going well ☺️

MummaSt · 11/04/2020 16:44

Nancy is lovely

Whatsyourflava · 11/04/2020 16:41

How are you doing @Sheshallbenameless1

Sparklypurpleunicornsaremyfav · 10/04/2020 14:42

Good luck for today, hope everything goes well. No matter what any of us think, you'll find the perfect name for her

HaveAtEm · 10/04/2020 14:01

Love Nancy and Etta, ambivalent towards April (but seems a bit too twee to give it to an April baby...much like baby girls being called Holly. if they happen to be born around Christmas 😑) Actually dislike Olive and Pearl (Olive just reminds me of On The Buses, and Pearl is just old lady with a bag of knitting 🧶 👵 )

Regardless, good luck today, hope everything goes well xx

MrsWhisker · 10/04/2020 13:53

Pearl. So pretty.

Ihatemyseleffordoingthis · 10/04/2020 13:51

April!
Not cheesy. It's not as plentifully used as eg Holly. Bit 50s/60s retro cool vibe to it.
Nancy is cute/cool/adaptable too. Ann, going by Nancy.

Olive, Etta and Pearl are somewhat bit try-hard.

midsomermurderess · 10/04/2020 13:47

Nancy. The others are ok, apart from Olive which is almost comically awful. Definitely Nancy.

kim1856 · 10/04/2020 13:38

Love Nancy or Etta :) x

Alwaysundecided · 10/04/2020 13:32

I love April, so gorgeous and unusual. Pearl and Etta also lovely. Nancy is ok but I really dont like Olive. To me it reminds me of slimy greasy olives or olive oil.
I know a baby Olive though and its perfectly fine as a name but isn't a patch on your other names.

helpmum2003 · 10/04/2020 13:29

Nancy or Etta. (Possibly as nn for Henrietta)

CakeRattleandRoll · 10/04/2020 13:21

Nancy

Crookshanksthecat · 10/04/2020 12:58

Sorry but Olive has to be one of the ugliest name I've ever come across I just can't understand why people would use it given so many great names available.

I like Etta but it feels like a nickname as short for Harriet or Henrietta

Pearl is ok

Nancy is quite cute

April is probably my favourite but I'm not so keen on naming a child April that is born in April, seems a bit cheesy to me.
