Worried we won't ever decide on a girls name!

4 months to go and we can't decide on a name. I had a long list of boys names I loved but had maybe one girls name, so of course it's a girl! I had a hard enough time naming my first daughter.

I have a 10 year old named Georgia, we live in the US and this name is not as popular as it seems to be in the UK.

Can you help with name suggestions? We don't like common and would like something unique/unusual but not to out there.

Here is our list so far, I'm not sure I even really like any of these I just don't hate them so they made the list!

McKenna
Briar
Harper (I don't like the Beckham connection but no one in the US would really know about this)
Blaise
Ashton (Favourite by a slim margin Smile)

Briar is really pretty.
Do you want the name to be us-uk translatable as it were? Some of these are what I would think of as very American. And as pp say, you’re going to get people being rude about us style names. (Having said which I would say definite no to Remington, Bristol, and Holliday).

I'm from the UK, I just currently live in the US 🙂

I love classic English names but my husband doesn't. Henry was my first choice for a boy, husband hated it.

Blaise and Ashton are boys names to me.

Harper, Reese (Witherspoon), Briar and McKenna are the best of the lot.

Ashton's the only one I remotely like from your list, but it's not my style.

We don't really have the same taste as I like classic English names, so I'm not much use to you really.

I'm not trying to dissuade you from posting here, but this is predominately a UK site and what you'll get is UK views of US style names, which might not be helpful. Is there not a similar US based website that would help you? You have lots of time to decide, anyway.
