Theodora - I like Thea but not Theodora
Cecily/Cecilie - Cecily is lovely
Emmeline - nice but i feel a bit over done these days?
Lara - love
Nina - really dislike

Middle names i think the longer ones in your list above would be good! Or how about:
Alice
Seraphina / Serafina

My daughter is called Nina Iris so obviously I like it. They haven't used the nee nawh sound as an emergency siren since the late 80's so most normal, non twatty people won't make comments like that.

Emmeline & Cecile/Cecily are lovely as well.

Theodora - not a fan of this one personally. Thea is a nice name though.

Cecily - very pretty and elegant without being over the top. Definitely spell it this way though rather than Cecilie.

Emmeline - don't like this one at all sorry, too over complicated and fussy.

Lara - short, simple and lovely. Be warned though, it's likely to get misread as Laura.

Nina - don't like it, it sounds a bit silly to me.

I'd go for Cecily or Lara, they're both unusual and nice.

I like Lara and Theodora. I cant decide if I like Nina - it's okay.

Emmeline just seems too overused with all the Em names although its probably my favorite Em name.

Dont like Cecily that much.

Nina - not keen - a bit like nee nah, nee nah.

Out of the ones you have mentioned I love Nina, Lara and Francesca. I have a lovely 4 year old niece called Francesca so may be a little biased but it suits for any age, she gets Frankie as a NN.

I also think Francesca is very pretty, but not sure if it is perhaps too popular. I do like that that it's not your typical 'rising trend' though

I'm open to as many suggestions as you all think may suit my style. My partner will shoot half of them down, so the more I'm armed with, the better Wink
