Why is Tuesday acceptable as a name but Monday or Thursday etc aren't ?
It's a no from me..

Why is April acceptable and not December, then ? It's all quite arbitrary.

For the record I like Tuesday, though I probably wouldn't dare to use it.

Buttercup54321 · 12/04/2020 01:13

I prefer Sunday to Tuesday.
Give her a proper name!!!

neverenoughwipes · 11/04/2020 17:12

I really like it
Along the same lines, I used to be friends with an October which I always thought was a really nice name too

SpaceSharkTea · 11/04/2020 17:07

Yay - I love it!

sel2223 · 11/04/2020 16:28

It's a no from me I'm afraid.

Its not even a nice day in the week.....It's worse than Monday 😉

BasilDiffuser · 10/04/2020 08:34

I’ve know two Tewsdays. We are in Norfolk by the way. So obviously butchered every time we say it Hmm

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 08/04/2020 16:07

“Aren’t some people boring. I love it.”

Well that’s the thing on MN. If your kids aren’t called Olivia or Noah then you’re being too try hard.

Orphlids · 08/04/2020 15:48

Aren’t some people boring?! I love it!

Autumna · 07/04/2020 14:31

Absolutely love it! To me it has a bohemian vibe, yet it's still a strong name Smile

Carouselfish · 07/04/2020 14:25

Don't mind it. Makes me think of all those sixties era people, Tuesday, Tatum, Farrah.
Another 'day' name I heard was Holliday. Really like that, though think it needs the double l.

I sprays find it so ridiculous when people on this site associate ‘different’ names with being teased and not being able to get a job! I love the name Tuesday, it’s very pretty, but so interesting and not frilly.

vampirethriller · 05/04/2020 06:51

The Tuesday I know has a good job too. Never had a problem.

RightOnTheEdge · 04/04/2020 22:27

God help her try to get a job
Hmm what a load of rubbish. The Tuesday I know has a perfectly good job.

chooseausername · 04/04/2020 08:57

I know a teenage Tuesday. I remember turning my nose up when I first heard it, but I have to say that it really suits her.

brightyellowcardigan · 04/04/2020 08:50

I really like it but at the same time I don't think I'd enjoy being called and introducing myself as Tuesday.

motortroll · 04/04/2020 08:23

Yes! My friend has a daughter called Tuesday. It's awesome.

vampirethriller · 04/04/2020 08:15

I like it. I know one in her thirties and nobody has ever really given it a second thought.

scrivette · 04/04/2020 08:07

There was a Point Horror book 'Freezetag' and there was a family with children 'Brown, Tuesday and West'.

I like Tuesday.

eatanazurecrayon · 04/04/2020 08:04

The name not the child. The child was horrendous

eatanazurecrayon · 04/04/2020 08:03

I had a Tommorow in my class which I really liked

OddBoots · 04/04/2020 08:00

It can't be that odd, I am in my 40s and the older sister of a boy in my year was called Tuesday.

louise5754 · 03/04/2020 21:55

I like it. Plus the girl in Addams family was called Wednesday?

Sexnotgender · 03/04/2020 21:50

I know a Sunday, works well.

Enough4me · 03/04/2020 21:49

No, poor child trying to explain it in school.
