Hey guys
I'm 30 weeks pregnant and would love some help choosing a name for my little boy. I want something normal that suits a child but also not too common.

So far I like:

Jake Moran
Charlie Moran
Keelan Moran

Any ideas pleeeeeeaseeeee?

John.

Not even in the top 100

YahBasic · 29/03/2020 22:59

Keir
Keaton
Cormac
Fraser
Jonathan (nn Jonty)
Jackson

More common, but Max Moran sounds really cool.

If you want normal but not common, why not go for a name that used to be common, but isn't now. John, Paul, Peter, Alan, Steven, Gary. Just think of all the men you know between 50 and 70. FYI I like John, Peter and Steven and don't know any children with those names (I work in 7 different primary schools).

I'm Irish - proably should have mentioned that. I don't see Keelan as a trashy name tbh but maybe It is in the UK? I don't know any other Keelans and either does my husband but the more I say it aloud the less I like it...
I thought Jake and Charlie were nice too but I'm not 100% on any name.. who knew it would be so difficult.. I'm praying when I have him in my arms the name will just come to me.

Charlie is awful.

Keelan is okay

Jake is lovely though I think quite popular still. Well I know quite a few Jacobs who often end up being shortened to Jake.

I like...
Grayson,
Sebastian,
Jeremiah
