Hi,

What do you think if Lily Belle for first and middle name please?
Does it sound too cutesy? I love it for its cuteness but then most of the time she would just be Lily.

I'm not keen on Lily as it feels overused.

Belle means pretty in French, but I'm not sure it's a nice name.

I like Alice.

Far too sweet sounding for me. I prefer Lily Alice. She might have to read her full name on her wedding day so you don't want it to be a distraction.

Lily Belle as a combination is more cutesy. Lily Alice is much more classic sounding and would be my choice.

Having said that, 90% of people will never know what her middle name is (unless you are going to refer to her as Lily-Belle, which is cutesy, although okay on a baby/toddler); so if you prefer Belle as the middle name, then just go for it.

I’m clearly in the minority, but I LOVE Lily Belle. As you said, you’ll mostly just call her Lily anyway, so who cares how cute it is?! I think it’s lovely.

Going against the grain here but I quite like Lily Belle.

I LOVE Belle as a middle name and my own daughter was going to be named Sofia Belle.

We ended up calling our daughter Annabelle Primrose, which lots of people thought was little too ‘twee’ and ‘frilly’ but she is a little firecracker 😂, and her name is a great juxtaposition to her character, we loved it and ironically it suits her down to the ground, so glad we named her what we did.

Absolutely appalling.
Plus Lily was used tonnes in the past decade, she’d be one of many Lilies at her future workplace. Lily Grace just = ‘we couldn’t be bothered to even try’. Two generic filler names, together.

Alice, but as it’s a middle name it won’t matter. No one knows people’s middle names & they’re only ever on paperwork, so use what you want.
