Cornish now unisex name but originally boys name I think. GOT seems to have previous for using girls makes for boys

I like it but the only one I know of is a boy! I did always think it sounded more of a girl’s name though (had never come across it until I met him).

Game of Thrones fan here and Merryn Trent is first thing that popped into my head! Not a pleasant man 😊
I wonder is it a Cornish (?) version of Muireann (an Irish name)? It's a lovely name, but Game of Thrones male character was my first thought...
