What do you think of this name? I know Arrietty is a name but I love Harrietty. Isit a daft made up name? Or do you like it?

Daft. Glad it is off your list.

GertiMJN · 07/03/2020 19:20

I was never sure if Arrietty was made up by Mary Norton for the Borrowers or not, but quite like it regardless.

But Harrietty sounds daft - as if you assumed someone had missed of an h when saying Arrietty and you were (incorrectly) correcting them...

Soubriquet · 07/03/2020 19:20

I thought at first you were trying to say Arrietty and was about to correct you

Cookit · 07/03/2020 19:17

Did you make it up?

canterburytales · 07/03/2020 19:17
