Robin 'rob in'?

We are keen on the name Robin should we have a boy but are concerned people will say 'what you robin Robin' etc. Is that likely ?

I kind of guessed that - but is it a well known phrase. I really don’t th8nk it’s a reason not to use it

@LittleBearPad we're Scottish so it's like robin = robbing. As in stealing.

We have a Robin and this has never arisen -as far as I know- could have happened at school I suppose.
He loves his name and the birds as well!

I liked the name Robin only thing stopping us was the fact OH would have constantly said "we had to name you Robin because I'm Batman" Confused
