Opinions; Partner thinks it's pretentious. I just like Greek names and love the stories surrounding him.

No

LouLouLoo · 29/02/2020 22:17

I’m with your partner. I hear Achilles and my association is tendon before Greece.

embolass · 29/02/2020 22:15

Eh.....no

Neptunesgiraffe · 29/02/2020 22:15

I like the Greek pronunciation but not the English way of saying it.

TinnedPearsForPudding · 29/02/2020 22:12

Tendon would be a great nickname

BobbyBlueCat · 29/02/2020 22:11

Let your husband pick the name....

NotNowPlzz · 29/02/2020 22:09

It's okay. I knew a little Apollo also not Greek no one batted an eyelid. I'd give him a run of the mill middle name though

DramaAlpaca · 29/02/2020 22:08

I agree with your partner.

Eeeeeby · 29/02/2020 22:06

Yeah, pretentious. Are you Greek?
