Alternative to Phoebe and Isobelle

I love Phoebe But Dh has vetoed.

DH loves Isabella which I don’t mind but am not keen on Izzy, which it will inevitably be shortened to.

Can you suggest some compromise names.

I’m secretly hoping there is a really obvious name which sounds like both that I can’t think of.

I have family members Phoebe, Cecilia and Ariana. I love them all.

What about Gabrielle?

Clarissa. I've recently met one who's not posh but she's got balls. She's reinvented the name for me.

BasiliskStare · 26/02/2020 05:39

Sorry - not my business - please ignore post above

I quite like Celia or Cecilia - bit old fashioned but not in a mimsy way. But then not too sure if counts as a Phoebe or Isabella cross iyswim so probably won't work

BasiliskStare · 26/02/2020 05:34

Why is Phoebe vetoed ?

@bridgetreilly we have a close friend called Ella and I love Bella and would actually call the baby just that... But... I’ve had to concede it really doesn’t go with our surname.
