Does this match with surname?

Benjamin.

Surname Jenkins. I'm thinking does "Ben..." "Jen.." sound odd?

And should I be worried about the initials?

Do we generally like the name Benjamin?

I’ve just realised I know two boys (now men) with BJ initials at my school. Was never mentioned!

Bennett Jenkins might work though.

Give him a middle name and then initials are BAJ or whatever

In real life I don't think those initials are such a big deal as people on Mumsnet seem to think they will be. If you think of people that have the initials BJ does it even cross your mind?
How much time do people spend even thinking about others' initials?

It’s a shame because Benjamin Jenkins sounds really nice! Personally wouldn’t go for it because of BJ though sorry OP

I know a few people with BJ as initials and it’s never been an issue. I think Ben Jenkins sounds great! I love rhyming/alliteration names 😀

I like it but BJ is such common slang I would avoid it.

No because of the Ben Jen thing but absolutely no because BJ.

I know kids (and adults) will always find something to take the piss out of but that doesn't mean they should be given an own goal.
