Okay last question, I think I might be going a little crazy. Preferences on
Naomi Rose Green
Or
Robyn Rose Green

Naomi is so much nicer!

CaffiSaliMali · 25/02/2020 17:34

Naomi is lovely. I think it goes better with middle name and surname too.

Robyn is ok. Much prefer it as a boys name and with the Robin spelling.

SoupDragon · 25/02/2020 17:33

Nay is No in Dutch.

Rob (short for Robyn) means to steal in English so there's a downside to that too!

FleetwoodMacMummy · 25/02/2020 17:30

I prefer Naomi

cosytoaster · 25/02/2020 17:22

Robyn

Lavenderblues · 25/02/2020 17:13

Nay is No in Dutch.

I prefer Robyn

Nowayorhighway · 25/02/2020 16:09

Robyn.

Whatsyourflava · 25/02/2020 12:07

Robyn definitely

Naomi - nn Nay sounds like a horse x

Miriel · 25/02/2020 12:05

I prefer Naomi.

I agree with a PP that Robyn Rose Green sounds like a placename - a nice park, probably.

AlpacaGoodnight · 24/02/2020 23:00

Naomi as I love Robin but only for a boy!

pipilangstrumpfi · 23/02/2020 19:49

Robyn

I don't like Naomi.

Poorolddaddypig · 23/02/2020 16:49

Robyn Rose 🌹

AmelieTaylor · 23/02/2020 02:22

I prefer Robyn, but prefer the Robin spelling. I know that was traditionally the Male spelling but I know several female ‘in’ Robins and it’s transformed a name I didn’t really like

I don’t particularly like Naomi and the ones I have known have hated the Nay oh mi/nIomi/kneeOMe. confusion.

Plus I wouldn’t have Rose with Green

Robyn Rise Green sounds like a Garden Centre or Park to me sorry.

Rachelhaydenberk1 · 23/02/2020 02:15

I love either! But would love a middle name that isnt Rose. Is it every girl's middle name nowadays?

Astronica · 23/02/2020 02:12

I much prefer Robyn. Lovely name. I just can't see the appeal of Naomi.

Allgirlskidsanddogs · 22/02/2020 22:34

I love both Robyn and Naomi.

But I don’t like the alliteration of Robyn Rose and I think Robyn Green would be a soft target as robins are red.

Wintersun13 · 22/02/2020 22:12

Robyn I like much better than Naomi.

I think people worry way too much about what kids at school might or might not say. I have a perfectly ordinary name and I got bullied because I like to read. Point is, if kids want to make fun of someone they will, regardless of what their name is.

People love the name Hattie on these boards, no one's ever suggested a Hattie would be asked where her hat is or whatever else.

Makinglists · 22/02/2020 22:09

Naomi - beautiful name.

Lavenderblues · 22/02/2020 22:05

I don't like either but would choose Robyn

MikeUniformMike · 22/02/2020 21:00

@Whatsyourflava.
Kids at school, jokey colleagues.

NannyR · 22/02/2020 20:22

I'd go for Naomi Robyn.

Whatsyourflava · 22/02/2020 20:18

Who’s going to say Robins are red
That seems bizarre to me

Will people be saying “oh Naomi - I moan backwards” too I wonder?! Doubt it

I vote Robyn Green

MikeUniformMike · 22/02/2020 20:13

Robyn Green is a bit odd too.
Robins are red.

wizzler · 22/02/2020 20:08

Naomi

MikeUniformMike · 22/02/2020 20:03

Rose Green sounds a bit silly.
