My friend had a Freyja, I think it’s beautiful.

Freya involves the least potential for mispronunciation.

@Pipandmum freyja is the original spelling that’s why you ‘bother’. The same reason you spell it Siobhan and not Shivonne.

I wouldn't pronounce them the same - is the j silent? Then why bother? If you spelt it Freyja your child will forever be telling people 'it's pronounced "Freya"'.
