Hi. Think this is my first ever post. I'm really torn between either Jodie or hazel.

Has anyone got any feedback, thoughts?

Thanks for the feedback.
It's been good to read because the more everyone said they disliked Jodie the more disappointed I was so it made me realise how much I'm leaning towards Jodie.
I think once she's here, people won't over analyse her name and she will just be Jodie. I hope.

Thank you everyone

Have we helped @user1471541923

I prefer Hazel x

OnABeachSomewhere · 14/02/2020 10:31

Jodie is OK but prefer Josie. Not keen on Hazel.

Nowayorhighway · 14/02/2020 10:20

Hazel is lovely, Jodie is awful.

BadCatDirtyCat · 14/02/2020 07:19

Hazel, it's lovely. There's a woman in my office with the name and I've always thought it was beautiful.

Jodie is also cute but not nearly as elegant.

BatleyTownswomensGuild · 14/02/2020 06:55

Hazel is very pretty.

I really dislike Jodie

funmummy48 · 14/02/2020 05:48

Hazel is lovely.

Jossina · 14/02/2020 05:42

Hazel. Jodie sounds like a nickname for something.

newtothis20 · 14/02/2020 05:27

It looks like I’m in the minority but I really like Jodie. I don’t associate it with a decade so doesn’t sound dated to me; I think it sounds fresh compared to some of the names in the top 20.

I also really like Hazel so I think you have a lovely shortlist, but Jodie sounds nicer to me

Strugglingtoquit · 13/02/2020 23:35

Definitely Hazel

TheMemoryLingers · 13/02/2020 22:09

Hazel - a classic that won't date.

CandyApple1995 · 13/02/2020 22:07

Hazel! Such a Gorgeous name x

user1493494961 · 13/02/2020 22:06

Not that keen on Hazel but it's better than Jodie, which is awful.

emilybrontescorsett · 13/02/2020 22:04

Jodie.

DramaAlpaca · 13/02/2020 22:01

Hazel by a mile.

turkeyontheplate · 13/02/2020 21:44

I love them both

HotSince82 · 13/02/2020 21:44

Hazel.

sqirrelfriends · 13/02/2020 21:41

Both very dated but prefer Hazel by a mile.

newnameallround · 13/02/2020 21:31

Hazel!

Butterfly84 · 13/02/2020 21:25

Both very dated.

Jodie is not nice. Hazel is okay but I cannot imagine a little Hazel now.

Adelais · 13/02/2020 20:04

Love Hazel. I think Jodie is a bit dated.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 13/02/2020 19:22

Wow you couldn’t get 2 more different names if you tried. I like the vibe of Hazel but prefer the sound of Jodie. ITSWIM.
Jodie is dated if that bothers you. However dated also means unusual amongst her age group. Hazel I think will have a huge popularity surge and she could be one of many in her class. Again it’s only a problem if it bothers you.

Candleflamingbright · 13/02/2020 19:21

Definitely Hazel

Cbeebiesrehab · 13/02/2020 19:19

Oh gosh, Hazel a million times over!

Both names have very different vibes to me.

Satsuma2 · 13/02/2020 19:12

Hazel, I love it. Jodie is awful.
