Savannah.

Husband is totally set. It isn’t a name I have ever really come across and is very different to anything I’d normally pick.

I am so on the fence as to wether I love or hate?

Your DH doesn't like it, so even if you did like it and you're divided anyway isn't it back to the drawing board?

DramaAlpaca · 11/02/2020 23:06

It's not my style. I hate to say it but I think it's a bit, erm, downmarket.

SleepingStandingUp · 11/02/2020 23:03

@RickOShay Autumn is her Mom, her sister is Isla.

Mises point of thread...

I like it op

YesThatsATurdOnTheRug · 11/02/2020 23:01

Love it, it was on my list but DH wouldn't hear of it.

Nillynally · 11/02/2020 22:59

Yes @SaintFlamingo that was my first thoughts too! It then became a lovely Thai restaurant.

puds11 · 11/02/2020 22:42

Nope. In the same vain as India.

Lmbunny · 11/02/2020 22:40

Noah and Savannah.. I think they're both suited nicely. Beautiful names Smile

Tillygetsit · 11/02/2020 22:33

I have a Susannah so I obviously prefer that.

Whatsyourflava · 11/02/2020 22:03

I really don’t like it. Sounds like lots of names meshed together. Too frilly and a bit downmarket
Hannah?

Hypergear · 11/02/2020 21:59

Sounds tacky to me too

Luaa · 11/02/2020 21:59

I like it. I think it goes with Noah too.

JackMummy12 · 11/02/2020 21:59

I think if you are divided it isn’t the one.

Samhradh · 11/02/2020 21:59

It sounds like a night club to me, OP. Rather than its ecological meaning.

MrsXx4 · 11/02/2020 21:58

This is so divided!! I am already divided!

We have a distant relative with this and to be honest we all roll our eyes, sorry reminds of Chardonnay etc. Very towie

HeronLanyon · 11/02/2020 21:53

Btw.

HeronLanyon · 11/02/2020 21:51

I think -
Georgia. Always love it as city name.
Africa. Wildlife.
Name - feels a bit 90s (?) to me. Not fond of it at all but who cares. If you love it use it.
Congrats bye.

daisypond · 11/02/2020 21:49

I like it. I know a couple in their early 20s.

Likethebattle · 11/02/2020 21:49

I know someone with a daughter called Savannah. It’s nice.

bakingcupcakes · 11/02/2020 21:49

@DeanaWinchester Yep Otherworld. I have them all and have re-read them lots!

2stepsonthewater · 11/02/2020 21:48

A savanna or savannah is a mixed woodland-grassland ecosystem

Did your DH not do geography at school?

Go for Susannah instead?

Shockers · 11/02/2020 21:48

I don’t know why, but whenever I hear the name, I see it as beige. I see some names as rich colours and some as bland- Savannah is a bland colour, and that puts me off it.

Odd, I know.

tomatosoup4 · 11/02/2020 21:47

I love it, it was 2nd on my list for Dd we chose Scarlett in the end.

Ihaveamind · 11/02/2020 21:47

It makes me think of the American South. Think it goes well with Noah.

clpsmum · 11/02/2020 21:47

Love it and think it sounds lovely with Noah. Both gorgeous names
