Lachlan- thoughts?

Both me and DH quite like the name Lachlan, and it goes nicely with our tricky surname. Do you think it's a strange move if we aren't Scottish or Irish? My grandfather was Irish but that's as much as we have got!

I really like it, it was on our short list and we have no associated heritage either

Love it. Prefer it spelt Lochlan personally but lovely either way.

I think it's lovely. I don't think you'd need to have either Scottish or Irish heritage to use it if you love it.
