In the birth announcements in one of the broadsheets at the weekend there was a Thomson. It struck me as being a little unusual, but Harrison and Grayson seem quite mainstream, so how about Johnson?

Names like McKenzie, Taylor and Riley are considered unisex so why not Johnson?

To add a touch of klass, why not make it Johnson-May?

El2020 · 04/02/2020 04:03

What about Katie 😬 too soon?

KitKat1985 · 03/02/2020 20:11

You'll have to pronounce it "brexitler" to rhyme with "hitler".

raskolnikova · 03/02/2020 20:01

Borya is the diminutive of Boris, so there's another one.

Or just go the whole hog, Alexandra Borya de Pfeffel Johnsona, nickname Lying Scumbag.

BruceAndNosh · 03/02/2020 20:01

Only if you use it as a middle name.
With the first name of BollocksTo

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 03/02/2020 19:59

Bad idea, 48% of the population won't like her, of the remaining 52% quite a few will complain that she isn't what they were expecting her to be like.
And 99% will be totally sick of her before she even turns up

Nigella Faragina sounds like Regina Phalange's British cousin Grin

00100001 · 03/02/2020 19:54

Is it pronounced Brex-itta, brex-eeta, or Jane?

Quizeerascal · 03/02/2020 19:46

ChangedMyNameYetAgain · 03/02/2020 19:17

Yunka Tusketta van der Diddle

HerRoyalFattyness · 03/02/2020 19:16

borntobequiet · 03/02/2020 19:16

ChangedMyNameYetAgain · 03/02/2020 19:15

Widdecombella?

ChangedMyNameYetAgain · 03/02/2020 19:14

Ooh, I like Nigella Faragina, but could you get Ann Widdecombe in there too?

Nigella-Anne Faragina Widdecombe Diddle

It's getting more common these days to take a common name and add a slightly exotic twist to it - stick a 'van' or 'de' in there, or even an umlaut.

Hm, I'd have thought Brexita's family would disapprove of that sort of foreign muck.

Wouldn't it be better to find a good Old English name, preferably one which can be spelled using a good Old English character such as a thorn or yogh?

ChangedMyNameYetAgain · 03/02/2020 19:11

Other suggestions:
Bregzita/Bregsita
Europa-Unity
Schengena
Remaine

ChangedMyNameYetAgain · 03/02/2020 19:09

L'eve is enough.

You could experiment with spellings and nicknames.
Leev, Leeve, Laeve, Lieve or, if you have (Northern) Irish connections, Liamh.

ofwarren · 03/02/2020 19:01

How do you you pronounce that? Is it Brex eeta or Bregz eeta?

Fannia · 03/02/2020 18:59

My dh will annoyingly pronounce it Brit-exitta.

BecauseReasons · 03/02/2020 18:59

How about L' Eva?

Inspired! And on-trend. Kudos. Grin

CloudPop · 03/02/2020 18:56

How about L' Eva?

🤣🤣🤣🤣

Ramona is on my girl list but I just can't do it to her

diddlediddle · 01/02/2020 20:38

Yeah I like Xita and Mona. It is of its time, true, but I also think it has staying power... and probably more than half of people will like it
