I would go with Ellen or Eleanor. Not make up a spelling.

I’d imagine a lot of people will mishear it as Helena.

Thank you. We spell it this way because we like to pronounce it like Ellen-a.
Elena been read Eh-lay-na a lot of the times and we don’t like Eleanor (as we will pronounce it with the ‘or’ at the end.

It sounds lovely. I prefer the Eleanor spelling though. Elena is another widely known spelling.

It's nice. Why not either Elena or Eleanor, though? I haven't come across the spelling Ellena before; it looks wrong to me (but happy to be corrected if it's a known variant!).
