Pretty girls names like Emily

The name Emily is such a pretty name for a girl and I tend to find most people feel the same. The problem is, I want it for my dd but can’t and no other names are matching up to me.

So, what girls names do you think of as pretty?

Amelie or Everly are both similar sounding.

I really like horn if these names actually.

I had this problem —so many good classic names already used by family members. Her are some we had to reject for that reason.

Emily is completely dull, boring and not pretty at all to me. I much prefer Sasha, Hebe, Lowenna, Fern, Romilly, Tamsin and Rosalind.

I struggle to think of Emily as a pretty name. It seems very dull and plain to me. Names that are maybe similar-

Amelie - I believe it's the French version? Sorry the spelling may not be correct! Emily is a beautiful name.

I have an Emily and was in two minds as the name of my brother’s long term ex, and he struggled with the breakup. It took him a bit of time to come round but he’s fine with it now (I think!). But if it’s a no-go for you then fair enough.

What about Milly?
