How would you pronounce...?

Joel.

With two syllables with emphasis on the first and a subtle change to the second - ‘Jo-ul’?

Or ‘Jole’ to rhyme with ‘sole’, ‘role’, etc.?

I’ve only ever heard it said Jole to rhyme with role. The pronunciation with two syllables suggested I’d think of being the female name Joelle

I would pronounce it exactly as your first description. Two syllables, but the second one very subtle.

It’s two syllables. Jo-el. Jole is very odd - maybe it’s an American pronunciation. Never heard that.
