Love all three names

Rudy is a great choice but so is Oliver and Dylan 🙈

sel2223 · 13/01/2020 09:51

I don't dislike Rudy but in my family, growing up, we always used to say 'rudy tudy' when something was rude and we still do that with my nieces and nephews now so it just reminds me a bit too much of that. Sorry.

Osquito · 13/01/2020 09:47

I think they’re all nice, but I’d probably choose Dylan because it occurs less often than Oliver and Rudy could get you a marmite reaction off others (if you care about that sort of thing, of course!)

Dylan xx

Astronica · 13/01/2020 07:48
  1. Oliver
  2. Rudy
  3. Dylan
Marlena1 · 12/01/2020 19:47

If I ever had a boy, Dylan is the name.

17caterpillars1mouse · 12/01/2020 19:39

I love Dylan but would spell it Dillon

partofyoupoursoutofme · 12/01/2020 17:57

Rudy is my favourite, it's very cute and cool. Certainly not as unusual as it used to be. Dylan is great too, but Oliver is pretty boring in my opinion. Obviously many people disagree with that!

emmathedilemma · 12/01/2020 17:14

I think Oliver is classic and doesn't date.
Dylan I associate with naughty little boys and Rudy isn't something I'd ever pick.

Doggotired · 12/01/2020 16:06

I have a Oliver Dylan..... Rudy would have been my daughters name if she was a boy. My Oliver is 10 and is known as olly, only Oliver when he doesn’t get out of bed! He’s the only Oliver in his year so it’s not massively overused. It will never date either

Coughy4u · 12/01/2020 16:03

Dont like any of them sorry

MsChatterbox · 12/01/2020 16:01

I only like Oliver. Very nice.
Rudy is just horrid.
Dylan is a bit chavvy, to me. I picture a misbehaved child.

user1493494961 · 12/01/2020 12:29

Oliver is by far the nicest. I know a really naughty Rudi, so dislike this name.

SeaWitchly · 12/01/2020 12:11

Don’t particularly like any of those names... but Dylan probably my favourite of the 3.

newreality1 · 12/01/2020 12:08

Dylan. Though all three are lovely names.

MikeUniformMike · 12/01/2020 12:06

Oliver.
I like Rudy but it's probably too different.
Dylan is awful.

Poorolddaddypig · 12/01/2020 12:06

I know two Rudy’s. Both are really cool

Poorolddaddypig · 12/01/2020 12:04

Rudy is AMAZING! I love it ... I can’t even express how much I love it!

Flymetothestars · 12/01/2020 10:26

@Irisincense what’s your older boy called?
People on Mumsnet used to say Albert was way too out there a few years ago btw x

MopsRUs · 12/01/2020 10:16

Oliver is a classic and you can't go wrong. Dylan is quirky and creative, Rudy just reminds me of 'rude'.

Mandarinfish · 12/01/2020 09:58

In order: Oliver, Dylan, Rudy

Irisincense · 12/01/2020 09:57

Food for thought! Seems Rudy divides people. It’s so hard! It was much easier with my older boy!
