Noel
Jude
Liam
Lennon

I know they're all music related but there is a reason. Thanks

Jude.

Mesmeri · 11/01/2020 20:32

Liam.

ToTheRegimentIWishIWasThere · 11/01/2020 20:20

Lennon, I like it but DH doesn't. Know a couple of Lennon's.
Jude, nice bit really popular round here.
(Will)Liam. Fine
Noel. Not for me.

hopelessatthinkingupusernames · 11/01/2020 13:46

Liam or Jude. Not keen on the others

namechange0912 · 11/01/2020 11:56

@Ellmau John and George are a bit meh for me. Plus there are hundreds of George's everywhere and nobody will know a music link with those names.

Can't you use John or George? With Lennon/Harrison as mn if you must.

Dietcokeaddiction · 11/01/2020 11:37

I really like Jude.
Not keen on the others.

PlantPotting · 11/01/2020 10:27

@robin04031402 Jude is way higher up the charts than Liam

daisypond · 11/01/2020 09:52

Jude.

robin04031402 · 10/01/2020 22:19

I would go for Jude!
Liam is way too popular and Jude isn't too common.
Noel reminds me of Christmas!

17caterpillars1mouse · 10/01/2020 20:25

I like Jude, Liam and Lennon but not Noel

I think I like Liam best but I'd have it as a nn for William, Jude second choice though I prefer Judah, Lennon third as I don't like Len or Lenny

PlantPotting · 10/01/2020 20:02

I think Lennon is just too loaded

Like I said on another thread, your little boy is statistically far more likely to work in a call centre or shop and giving them such an overt name after one of the worlds most famous musicians is quite a chain around the neck.

“What’s your name? Lennon? After John Lennon? Are you a musician?”

“Errr no I’m a plumber...”

Ps. I love Liam. Lovely name with none of the baggage of Lennon

Cbeebiesrehab · 10/01/2020 19:57

My son is Jude. Get lots of positive comments, usually that it’s a very cool name, if cool is what you’re going for😂
Find Liam a bit dated.
Not a fan of Noel really.
Like Lennon, think it’s a bit quirky without being weird and Lenny is a good nickname and in keeping with the ‘ie’ sounding trend at the moment.

meandmyboyz · 10/01/2020 18:41

Isn't Liam Gallagher Son Lennon too? Cool name and my favourite from your choices followed by Noel. There seem to be lots of judes in my area if popularity affects your choice xx

BikeRunSki · 10/01/2020 18:36

I really like them all.
Jude is probably my favourite.

namechange0912 · 10/01/2020 18:30

Definitely not anything associated with Queen. Not our type of music. Nothing wrong with the name Freddie but we do love oasis and Beatles and we do have personal reasons why.

KindnessCrusader · 10/01/2020 17:55

Any other than Noel. I think Noel is a name I associate with gnomes. Or old men that have gardens full of gnomes Grin I think that's the first time I've ever said I really don't like a name on a name thread! Sorry!

hellcarryingahandbag · 10/01/2020 17:39

I know it’s not on the list, but Freddie is a lovely name and has musical connotations.

TatianaLarina · 10/01/2020 17:13

Jude by miles. Liam is very dated now because of all the 1000s of baby Liams in the 90s.

Mandarinfish · 10/01/2020 17:09

Liam is my favourite

user1493494961 · 10/01/2020 17:07

Only like Jude.

mamablondie · 10/01/2020 17:01

Jude 10000% better than the other choices. I love it, with or without the music connotations. Sadly a close friend has a Jude otherwise it would be my first choice

dontmakemeleavethehouse · 10/01/2020 15:31

My boy is called Jude and people always say: what a beautiful name. It is. It really is.

Poorolddaddypig · 10/01/2020 15:25

Jude

namechange0912 · 10/01/2020 15:19

@Gottobefree I like that suggestion. Never thought of he other way round as I liked Noel Jude
